only equipment you need to get started is a computer and printer,
and Gemsoft Treasure software. However our software supports imaging
systems for taking pictures of your inventory, bar-code printers,
color printers, bar-code scanners, cash drawers and receipt printers.
Gem of The Net offers complete Jewelry Management software with
our Gemsoft Treasure
program. Gem of The Net also offers a complete imaging solution
with our SharpCatalog. The SharpCatalog
software allows users to capture jewelry and create professional
catalogs, PDF files, as well as HTML files, appraisals and JPG files
for use on the Internet, custom appraisals, flyers, etc. Gemsoft
& SharpCatalog store the customer's inventory in a database
(MS Access format) which can be used on Gem of The Nets WWW servers
to create true searchable on-line catalogs with order entry. SharpCatalog
is a true Windows product. It was designed as a high performance
application from inception. It borrows heavily from the technology
we pioneered in 1990 when we created the industry's first Windows
based management software with imaging.
SharpCatalog and Treasure share the same databases and both are
designed to work together and can be used in a multi-user network
environment.
